Tarboro Life
Activities
The open layer — nothing here needs a shift or an application. World-harvest, street racing, the odd heist, and the social side of the server all live here.
Gathering
Mining, lumberjacking, and stripping junk cars across 48 world nodes. Yield scales with tool tier — rusty pickaxe up through the steel pickaxe, axe and chainsaw, crowbar for scrap. World-harvest, not a formal job: no shift, no application, just walk up and work the node.
Car Culture
- Ad-hoc challenges —
/challengethe nearest driver, countdown, go. - Pink-slip wagers — both racers independently lock in their own plate before it's binding, an explicit guardrail against a misclick losing someone's car for real.
- Car meets — a blip and a place to be for 20 minutes, nothing more mechanical than that on purpose.
- Organized circuit racing — the structured, multi-lap version of the same street racing culture.
Heists
Three tiers — small, medium, marquee — sharing one gear-up safehouse. Marquee requires a Master-tier hacker present at gear-up and routes through the same codebreaker minigame the Vault uses. Every attempt draws a response, real police if any are on duty, an NPC fallback if not — the crew always needs muscle for the heat, one way or another.
Hacking
A genuine skill pillar, not a token minigame — ATM skims, disabling a vehicle's security camera before a boost, theater hacks that spook a target without touching their real balance, and the Vault: a bespoke sequence-recall codebreaker for Master-tier hackers only.
Darkweb
An anonymous gig board. Post a task with an escrowed cash bounty, someone claims it, you confirm completion to release the escrow — or cancel an unclaimed gig for a refund.
Social Media
A clout-to-income feed. Post, get likes, cross follower thresholds, and a sponsor economy starts trickling in real money on top of the attention.
